Bob McLure was one of the founder members of the Happy Hour Theatre Company.
Although he was no longer an active member he reamained a supporter of the group and was a good friend to us all.
Sadly he died on 28th June 2020 and will be a great miss.
Tribute from Jenny - "I first met Bob in 1980 and we soon appeared on stage together as husband and wife in a production of ‘Wait Until Dark’. It was to be a stage partnership that continued for many years and on many stages. We played husband and wife so convincingly, so many times, and usually travelled together. Some people actually thought we really were married! We also played partners, brother and sister and once mother and son, much to Bob’s amusement. He often mentioned I was that little bit older than him. He was a joy to work with...reliable, committed, professional and fun. There were lots of laughs and giggles. Happy Days. Thank you Bob. Take a bow"
